TRICIA'S SUCCESS: transforming her obstacle into our inspiration!

Some of you may remember the first time Patricia was featured on this site. She was busy recovering from surgery and had recently walked her way to a 3-mile race finish. Patricia dreamed of making a marathon finish her reality.

Almost 2 years later, and two years to the day of a major medical emergency, Tricia goes out and shows she is changing her dreams into accomplishments and finishes a Half-Marathon (13.1 Miles)!

"I have accomplished quite a bit since then. I have gone from 5Ks to half marathons! I have complete 2 half marathons to date. My first was done on April 1, 2006 which was exactly 2 years from the date [of my medical emergency]. I am now planning on doing a spring half marathon and then continuing my training to reach my ultimate goal of a full marathon next fall!"
